Post A Day.

I’ll tell you what I like and dislike about WordPress’ new posting challenges for 2011: on the one hand, it’s good to be encouraged to be prolific and share — and frankly, as someone who used to post daily but lapsed due to my school workload, it’s nice to have the push to keep going.

But I don’t care for the fact I need to use a tag to participate. I’m not sure if it will disqualify me if I don’t, but I’m willing to take the chance. It’s not that I’m trying not to be a team player, it’s just that since I’ve always written here for myself (and the content here likely appeals to very few other people), it seems like a wasted effort only to break my five year streak.

What can I say? I’m a streaker.

  1. You could always do the post a week. I believe that is also an option for the WordPress challenge. But I wish you the best of luck! Happy Blogging!

True, there is a weekly challenge, but I’m not really a stranger to the idea of blogging daily. Plus, seeing as I’m not using the tag, I’m sure no one is going to be reading it anyway.
