Are people in London, England, aware that there is a London, Ontario? I mean, we obviously know about the English city, what with its history, its sheer titanic stature in our own national past, and the fact that every street or place here in Ontario is named after something or someone English.

But are they aware that there is a London here? I’m sure they don’t think at times about what it might be like to visit here, or the type of people we must be, or attempt to measure up our contributions to art, music, theatre, or literally everything else. But in as much as I’m fairly sure that the people of Toronto, Ohio are aware there’s a Toronto, Ontario, I wonder if the reverse could be said to be true…

So yeahs, I got to thinking about that today.
