Give and get.

The following is a real SMS conversation that Nicole and I had earlier; I send every tweet to her phone at the same time as I send it to Twitter so that she may also enjoy it. She decided to respond to this one… I’m very pleased to call her mine.

Dear Nicole: my cup of coffee seems to have run off. It’s probably just a ploy for attention, but, um… whatever it tells you is a lie.

Dear Bobby, is it running to me? Because I could use a cup of coffee.

It likes you better cos you coddle it. Why do I always have to be the bad guy??

Would it kill you to coddle??

No coffee of mine is going to be some yuppy fruity drink! Someone has to teach it some discipline.

What about all those times you forgot about your coffee and it was poured down the drain? And you wonder why it seeks attention.

That’s what my father did with me, and I’m fine.

Hahaha I can’t top that.
