You mean Awesome Day.

Canada Day.

Me, one week ago at the Canada Day celebration in downtown London. It was raining, but the city still put on a a great fireworks display. Sure, there are undeniable similes tying the fireworks and celebration to wars past, but all the same, the spirit it inspires in everyone is a pretty cool thing.

Also, I received that hat as a Christmas present countless years ago. This marked the first – and so far, only – time I’ve ever worn it. I love it now, though. So very much.
