Obama on Amazing Spider-man 583

I admit, I never really outgrew comics, and particularly Spider-man. Here and there, I collect a cool Spider-man poster, and I like to hang them up… only I don’t do it here at home, I hang them up in my cubicle at work.

So yes, my immediate work space has a few posters of Spider-man (though not the special Obama cover above, I just like it), Wolverine, Iron Man, Captain America, the Silver Surfer, all in various poses, epic battles, and what-have-you. Luckily, I work in a department of all men, and for the most part they all enjoy comics, too (including my boss).

I just got a cool new poster yesterday from my friend James, and I was telling Nicole about it at home. “What would you do if someone drew moustaches over all your spider-men?” she asked me then. “I would be upset,” I replied, and I would. And now I think I might be starting to worry about them as though they were children…
