Of Obama.

It’s official: Canada loves Obama. Excitement reached a fervor today as the new president made his first foreign visit to our very own Ottawa.

Even at work, I was able to watch some of the joint press conference on Tv on my break. I even got a laugh from the dudes around me who didn’t realize that what I started singing was Jay-Z’s My President Is Black.

Even the White House had it’s own staffer liveblogging the event, an article which features some stunning photography by Pete Souza.

I can’t much describe the way I feel about President Obama excepting to say tha tI admire him. I’ve followed as closely as I can his progress in reforming the American government, and I applaud him for the much needed change he represents.

“Want to thank the Canadians who came over the border to campaign for me,” he said today. But it’s funny, cos it feels like he’s the one that deserves the thanks.
