Suit jacket day.

This morning was my first of actual live work on the new project that I’ve spent the last eight weeks training for, and to mark the occasion, a group of a half a dozen friends and I all dressed up in suit jackets to go to work. It was a greater success than we anticipated; not only did we look sharp, but there was a cool sense of being a team that came along with it, and it brightened up the atmosphere, helped ease the day by a little quicker.

People always say that professional attire makes for a more professional work environment, but I think today that I got the opposite out of it. I mean, what could have been much more nervous and hectic a day was actually very relaxed and pleasant.

So needless to say, we’re actually thinking of making it a weekly thing. Anything to help Mondays go by would be great, but this is something even more unifying and cool, so.
