Audiences.

I spent the day hanging downtown with my brother Mikey, and we did one of my (our?) favourite things – hit a guitar shop and kill a whole ton of time lost in their products.

I love walking in to the acoustic room and picking up one gorgeous guitar after another and just playing myself off into space. It’s so great to be in a place like that, so perfectly attuned to the sound of a guitar.

What kept surprising me was all the times I’d look up and catch suddenly bashful people watching me through the windows. I mean, what’s the deal? They couldn’t hear a note from there… so now I’m worried that I’m beginning to look very socially awkward…
