Erica Day.

Christmas smile.

My favourite photo from this week’s visit to Chatham comes with a story – in the time since my last visit, Erica decorated her Christmas tree with her mother. So the first thing she did when I arrived was usher me in to tell me all about it.

She told me about the process with great enthusiasm, and when she was finished, I asked her to stand in front of the tree in a picture and give me the biggest smile she could… so she stood there for me and opened her mouth as wide as she could.
