Wanna be on top?

So here we are, counting down to the final here on Canada’s Next Top Financial Adviser. Two fantastic financial advisers stand before me… yet I have only one portfolio in my hands.

Elmer: you have consistently performed at the top of your game, and the judges have seen a natural brilliance in you that puts you out ahead of all the others. But this week, where was that? We looked over the files on the Namor account, and there was no spark. At this point in the contest, you simply must dig deep and deliver flawlessly, without exception.

And Hugo. What a change we’ve seen in you; what you lack in formal education and hands-on experience, you make up for in heart, week after week. I’ve never seen anyone apply themselves so vigilantly to a task, and your work this week shows it. I’m so very impressed with all that is you, Hugo, and all that is you is poured into all you do. The problem? You’ve shown us that you can swing empty as well as send a project clear out of the park.

So who goes home? Whose journey ends here, and who gets to continue?
