A confession.

I haven’t started packing yet. Now, I know that I’m moving barely a week from now, but I haven’t as yet been able to muster up the motivation to start packing any of my belongings. Which, to be fair, aren’t many; not only do I simply not own too much, but in truth I have a lot of stuff that simply never got unpacked when I moved to London last June.

There are a few other factors, sure – my work schedule sees me working until 10:30 at night, home roughly an hour later. And the job itself is draining, exhausting me a lot of the time. In addition, I’ve been trying to do as much overtime as I can get in preparation.

So, am I just spreading myself too thin? Is it still only sinking in that the task needs to be done? Like, have I just not hit that panic point? Or do I, as a procrastinator, require the panic to work up the drive to get packed in time for the move?
