“Ever notice that firetrucks seem to be far more active when it rains? Ordinarily, I’d estimate that my chances of seeing a firetruck are very slim, I might once a month, say. But then it almost seems like every time the sky clouds over and it rains for longer than five minutes, firetrucks are blaring their sirens, speeding to all corners of the city.

“I can’t put my finger on it, unless there’s a very considerate serial arsonist here… ‘well, just in case, that shouldn’t get too out of control… I mean, I want the building to burn, but then again – it is a nice building…'”
