I’m not sure what to think about it just yet, but I seem to have hit a swell of Intertube popularity. Nothing big, mind you, but for example, this week alone my simple Youtube account has received a mass of invites and messages. One of them (the only one I accepted, actually) was from this little label in the States called Heinous Records, featuring only a couple of videos by a small contingent of bands they represent.
The one that won me over is above, a video by Feable Weiner called San Deem Us Ready. The song is fun and catchy, a gem from the bands’ first album, and the video features Tyson Ritter and Nick Wheeler of The All-American Rejects. Definitely a recommended watch.
Another example that I’m a touch baffled about is that this one old post of mine keeps getting fresh comments; some time back, I wrote about the Marianas Trench album, and that particular post has been collecting regular comments over the last few months.
Out of curiosity, I’ve looked around some websites, trying to find a mention of sorts… the WordPress stats feature hasn’t been terribly helpful, excepting to say that this particular entry is the most frequented one on my site – daily – rarely registering less than a dozen hits.
Naturally, I’m curious to figure this out, and would perhaps call on some of my more tube-savvy friends to solve this one. In any regard, enjoy the video above. And if somehow you came to see something about Marianas Trench, I offer you the tune below.
