In this outtake scene from Gary Hustwit’s film Helvetica (2007), graphic designer Massimo Vignelli discusses the process to designing the tube map for the New York subway. It was probably cut cos it didn’t have a lot to do with the font in particular, but it is a cool look at a designer reflecting back on early work.
